Passenger Ambassador Committee

Anthropologist Margaret Mead once said "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." So it is with the Passenger Ambassador Committee (PAC). Formed nearly two years ago, the PAC is a committee of volunteer riders representing different transit routes in the Authority's system.

The Committee meets monthly to discuss nearly every aspect of the service. Over the past two years, the Committee has worked on issues like on time performance, the condition of the shelters and stops, cleanliness of the buses and outreach to riders.

The Committee has been an enormous help to the Authority. These members possess a great deal of information regarding how we can make the service better meet the needs of riders. They have become an important part of the Authority's efforts to improve and plan for future needs.

Today there are 15 active members of the Committee and the Authority recruits new members from time to time.
