Greetings and welcome to the web site of the Greater Bridgeport Transit Authority. At this site you will find all of the information you need to make the most of the family of transit services offered by the Authority from our fixed route service to door to door services for the elderly and disabled and special shuttle services to Metro-North and Shore Line East commuter rail.

As you navigate through the site you will find information about our Board of Commissioners with a schedule of monthly meetings and past meeting minutes, contact information for all of our departments with e-mails and important telephone numbers. You will also find everything you need to know about our system and bus schedules.

Our web site also contains information about the Authority's Passenger Ambassador Committee, a group of riders dedicated to supporting improvements to the service, details about special projects underway including the System Planning Project, our new bus terminal in downtown Bridgeport and our partnership with the Connecticut Department of Transportation on a new Automatic Vehicle Location system project.

Your comments are important. To better understand our rider's preferences, we have added an on-line interactive survey. On the 'How are we doing' page of the site, you can grade the Authority's performance on every aspect of its operation. Many of the ideas we have received from riders in the survey have led to improvements that benefit all riders.
